FB is frequently blocked. Do you have the knowledge about managing multiple accounts?

Take FB as an example. Many overseas businesses will use FB as the main overseas advertising platform. In order to accurately promote products to consumers, it is a common practice to open N groups of personal accounts, corporate accounts, advertising accounts, etc. for comprehensive promotion.

However, you often encounter situations where you cannot log into your account, need to log in for verification, or your account is logged out. The reasons are multiple registrations with the same IP or device, simultaneous logins, multiple accounts on the same device & multiple devices with the same account, and frequent log-ins and log-outs. If any of the above behaviors occur, the platform will judge it as a suspicious account, and your account may be blocked.

If you are using large e-commerce platforms (such as AMZ, eBay, etc.), you may encounter the situation where your account is judged as an associated account by the platform and cannot be used anymore due to poor management of IP and browser environment.

Ultimately, when it comes to account environment risk control, we can reduce the risk of our account being blocked or linked by understanding the two aspects of "IP environment" and "browser environment".

About IP environment

01 IP Classification

IPs are mainly divided into two categories: data center IPs and residential IPs.

The data center IP address will be determined based on the location of the organization to which it belongs (usually the data center). If the user selects a data center IP, the address of the organization to which it belongs will be identified.

For example, we can verify the IP address on the website iplocation.net: After entering the data center IP, the ISP (Internet Service Provider) column will display the IP address information. For example, if we have purchased the data center IP of Alibaba Cloud Singapore site, it will display "Alibaba Singapore". This address information will be recognized when visiting other websites, as shown in the following figure:

There are various IP library tools on the market, including Alibaba Cloud, AWS, etc. These mainstream cloud service providers will publicly disclose their IP segment addresses. If you use the data center IP to log in to the platform with multiple accounts, the address information of the data center IP will be recognized by the website.

AdsPower would like to quietly remind everyone that if the IP address is reused to log in to multiple accounts, this will also put you at risk of being judged as a suspicious account by the platform when managing multiple accounts.

Regarding residential IP, it is mainly divided into dynamic IP and static IP.

As the name implies, a dynamic IP is an IP that changes. If you choose a dynamic IP solution, you need to match the IP to maintain the stability of the IP. A static IP is an IP that remains fixed.

As for choosing a dynamic or static IP, each has its own uses, and you can choose according to your actual usage scenarios.

02 Use of IP

In the past, everyone used VPS IP or US local IP to visit websites such as FB. AdsPower will show you how to use different IPs.

About a year ago, the most common way for people to log in to multiple Facebook accounts was to log in directly using a VPS.

The way to log in to a VPS is to select an IP from a data center. As mentioned earlier, the IP address information of the data center will be directly identified on the website, thereby increasing the risk of multiple account logins. Over time, this method will no longer be applicable.

Later, many people would directly choose to use a US IP to log in to their account. However, because the registrant could not restore the pairing of the account and its local IP environment, the website would still recognize the login as being from a different location when logging in to the account, resulting in a low account login rate.

In order to solve the problem of remote account login, we need to perform IP tracing .

IP tracing is mainly completed through three steps: first, perform IP resolution to obtain the country, province, and city to which the IP belongs, and then find the IP of the corresponding city to log in to the account.

Currently, in response to the problem of IP back-to-source login, AdsPower independent browser already has an IP automatic matching solution, which no longer requires complex manual matching operations. This will greatly improve the production efficiency of multi-account and IP environment management!

About browser environment

The browser environment involves many factors, the main of which is browser fingerprint, including UserAgent, Platform, WebRTC, time zone, WebGL, Canvas, plug-ins, language, fonts, Audio, etc.

01 UserAgent

UserAgent in Chinese is user agent, abbreviated as UA, which refers to an identifier provided by a software agent program that represents user behavior, usually including information such as the user's operating system and software revision.

When you are looking for an account on the market, you may be asked to use a browser version 73/76/78 to log in. This involves the browser version information, which is stored in the UA information. If the browser version is too low, you will receive a website prompt as follows:

02 The correspondence between UA and Platform

In addition to browser version information, UA is also related to computer system information.

AdsPower specially used two diagrams to make a comparison. The UA we got in the simulated system operation is a Mac system computer (Figure 1), but when we open the browser website and use the command to detect the Platform (Figure 2), we can see that the Platform information is "Win32", which means that the user actually uses a Windows system computer and forged the UA of a Mac computer.

After the website is identified, if the correspondence between UA and Platform is not the environment commonly used by the user account, it will be judged that the browser environment of the commonly used account has been changed, thereby posing a risk of suspicious login to the account.

03 WebRTC

Many people choose to connect to an IP proxy by installing the SwitchyOmega plug-in on the native Google browser and connecting to the proxy IP through the Http or Socks5 protocol.

However, since almost all native browsers are currently compatible with the WebRTC function, and this function can directly obtain the user's real IP address information, using the SwitchyOmega plug-in method in a browser environment still cannot avoid the problem of real IP leakage.

Taking the screenshot below as an example, we selected a US IP address in China and used a native browser to access the website, but the real address detected by WebRTC is still in China.

04 About time zones

Currently, when we log in to FB in China, the time zone of most people's computers is GMT+8. Even if we use a proxy IP from other countries/regions, the time zone obtained by the website is still GMT+8 of the user's local computer. This leads to the problem of IP and time zone mismatch, and also brings the risk of the account being judged as a suspicious account.
