There are four main types of Amazon store associations, including strong associations, weak associations, suspected associations, and false associations. It is crucial for sellers to understand these situations and how to effectively prevent associations.
Once Amazon finds that it has been associated, there are mainly the following situations:
- Multiple people using the same IP at the same time: Amazon stipulates that a seller can only have one store. It mainly determines whether multiple accounts belong to the same seller based on matching association factors. If Amazon determines that multiple accounts are operated by the same seller, account association is created.
- One person owns multiple stores at the same time: For example, if you use one device to switch store accounts back and forth, it is easy to be considered as related, so we usually use fingerprint browsers with proxy IPs for isolation.
- Multiple of the stores are too closely connected between family members and are likely to be related.
If there is a connection problem, the platform will send you a file, and the content of the file will generally be: Account connection – You have used more than one account.
According to experience, the success rate of the first appeal is quite high. If you think the platform has made a wrong judgment, try to appeal.

According to the requirements of the platform, some information must be collected in advance, including business license, bank statement, company registration certificate, tax documents, etc., relevant documents and evidence, in order to prove that the store has no substantial connection with other accounts.
