By opening a Facebook shop, you can sell your products on Facebook. When people visit your Facebook homepage, they can browse your products, make purchases and learn about your brand. So how do you open a Facebook shop?

1. Account Type

Not all Facebook accounts can open a store. First, you need a business Facebook account.

1. You need to have a Facebook business page or directory, or you can create one when you create a store.

2. You need to ensure that you have management rights to the company page or directory

3. Regional restrictions: Facebook Shop is not available in all countries. Currently, the following regions support Facebook Shop:

United States/Canada

Latin America: Brazil/Mexico

EMEA: Denmark/France/Germany/Italy/Netherlands/Norway/Spain/Sweden/Switzerland/UK/Ukraine

Asia Pacific: Australia / Indonesia / India / Japan / South Korea (Republic) / Taiwan / Thailand

2. How to open a store on Facebook

1. Go to the Create your store page and click Next .
   1. If you already sell on Shopify, BigCommerce, or another partner platform, you can create a store by importing and syncing your products. Click Sync with a partner platform on the right, then click Link to your partner site to complete the setup.
2. You may be asked to select a checkout method. Click Next.
3. If you want to sell on a Facebook business page, select your page or create a new one. If you want to sell on Instagram, select your Instagram business account. Click Next.
4. Select your business account or create a new one. Click Next.
5. Select the catalog that you want to use for your store, and then click Next . To select a catalog, you must meet the catalog eligibility requirements for your store. You cannot switch this catalog later.
   1. Note: If you don't have a catalog yet, you won't see this step. We'll automatically create a catalog for you in Commerce Manager called "Items (the name and ID of your page)". You can add items later when you've finished setting up your store.
6. Review your store details, review and agree to the Seller Agreement, and click Complete Setup .

After creating your store, you can upload your products and decorate the store appearance.

3. How to choose a proxy IP

Since Facebook shop is not supported in mainland China, it is impossible to open a store with an FB account opened with a domestic account. We currently have several solutions. You can purchase a store in the required area to operate it. In order to prevent the store from being identified and closed, we need a stable network environment. Therefore, choosing a proxy IP suitable for the region to use in combination is an essential step.
