Class A IP addresses are reserved for government agencies. The first digit is always 0. Its characteristics are:

1. Class A IP address = 1-byte network address + 3-byte host address. The highest bit of the network address must be "0"

2. Range: 1.0.0.0—126.0.0.0

Class B IP addresses are assigned to medium-sized companies. The sum of the first two digits is 10. Their characteristics are:

1. Class B IP address = 2-byte network address + 2-byte host address. The highest bit of the network address must be "0"

2. Range: 128.1.0.1-191.255.255.254

172.16.0.0—172.31.255.255 is a private address

② Reserved address: 169.254.XX is a reserved address. If your IP address is automatically obtained and you cannot find an available DHCP server on the network, you will get one of the IP addresses. In addition, 191.255.255.255 is a broadcast address and cannot be assigned.

Class C addresses are assigned to anyone who needs them. The first three digits are always 110. They are:

1. Class C IP address = 3-byte network address + 1-byte host address. The highest bit of the network address must be "0"

2. Range: 192.0.0.0—223.255.255.0

92.168.XX is a private address. (192.168.0.0—192.168.255.255)

Class D IP addresses are used for multicast and have the following characteristics:

1. Regardless of network address and host address, the first four bits of each first byte are fixed to: 1110

2. Range: 224.0.0.0—239.255.255.255

Class E IP addresses are used for experiments and development. Their characteristics are:

1. Regardless of network address or host address, the first five bits of each byte are fixed to: 11110

2. Range: 240.0.0.0—247.255.255.255

Regarding IP addresses, both Amazon and other platforms have certain rules. Take Amazon as an example: dynamic IPs have a lot of unknown unsafe factors, which can easily lead to account association and even dead accounts, thus affecting the normal operation of sellers and causing a lot of unnecessary property losses. Currently, most of the lines of domestic operators are dial-up dynamic Internet access, IPs are not fixed, and IPs may be changed at any time, which poses a great risk. Fixed IP addresses and no pollution have become the first choice for sellers, while also considering regional issues: If I am a company in Shenzhen, is it safe to use an IP in the north?

I can tell you that platforms such as Amazon/Ebay/AliExpress have high requirements for IP addresses when registering. It is recommended to use a fixed IP address.
